A Windowsill design using a bunch of supermarket roses approx. £5-00. [And lots of beautiful foliage and anything else of interest]
I will bring the equivalent of a windowsill for you to try out your design on! In my house I seem to have three widths of windowsill, 5”, 10” and 12 “. The challenge is that it needs to be a slim design. Think about your window and where a design would enhance the window. You might set your design in the corner so it would need to be an L shaped design. It might be a vertical design, the height determined by the height of the window. It might be a long low design perhaps set in the middle of the window. Consider what else is on the windowsill, glass ornaments, pottery, vases, ceramic animals, your design needs to enhance and harmonise with these! Consider your container, the colour of your roses and what foliage you might use.
