🍰🧁BAKE SALE - NEXT THURSDAY!! 🍰🧁

We're inviting all pupils to bring in some cakes for our Autumn Bake Sale on Thursday 15 October.

If your items and homemade we kindly as that you pop in a little note of ingredients. Alternatively if you are able to bake any gluten free or vegan cakes then do label them up as so. Shop bought also welcome, of course!

Bring cakes to classrooms in the morning and then join us from 3.20pm in the Dining Hall to sample the good! Cash and card accepted :)

Well done everyone, we raised £368 at our Family Bingo Night on Friday! ✨💯💪

A great turnout - lots of new families 🩷 prizes were won 👜sausage rolls (and cheese/onion rolls 🌱) were scoffed 🍬and every child left with a complimentary sweet bag!

Please join us on Monday 19 October for the Parent Pond AGM!

Everyone welcome, 3.20pm in the school hall.

*What happens?*

We'll be reporting our successes from the year and opening up discussions for what we can plan for the future. We also reassign the named roles in the committee. As a registered charity we are required to do this every year.

*Can anyone apply?*

Of course! The committee is made up of 'named members' who hold assigned roles they are accountable for throughout the year. The AGM is an opportunity to apply for one of these roles (existing holder of these roles are required to also reapply for them should they wish to stay in post). A vote will be held on the night. If you wish to apply for one of these roles please email us before COP Thursday 15 October.

Chair: Charlie
Deputy Chair: Grace
Secretary: Vik
Treasurer: currently vacant

There's also a wider committee of valued volunteers and parents/carers! Being part of the wider committee is much less of a commitment (promise!), so we do encourage parents and carers to sign up to this list if they're able to help at any of the events. Even if it's just 45 mins at a bake sale, or helping make up hamper prizes at home. You don't need to come to our meetings if that's tricky for you to commit to.

👀 Ooh, we’ve got some lovely prizes all packed up for the Family Bingo Night on Friday 2 October.

Alongside prizes for LINE and HOUSE wins in the bingo games we will also be running a raffle to win a larger prize bundle worth £148!

There’s still time to book your tickets via Classlist (£1 per person to secure a seat).

There’s also still time to donate any unwanted gifts as prizes - drop them into reception by the end of this week!

MONDAY - AFTER SCHOOL! 👇

🛒 We're having a BIG clearout of all our cupboards to make space for the exciting building works planned at school. Our volunteers don't have space to a lot in their own homes which means we've got LOTS to get rid of!

👕 We've got heaps of preloved uniform, games, puzzles, and books (SO MANY BOOKS!)

♾️ Bring a bag - pay what you can, or take something for FREE.
..All donations welcomed, of course!

What an incredible achievement. Every disco ticket sold, cupcake bought, or tombola prize donated, goes towards back into - so a big thank you to EVERYONE who volunteers at (and comes along to) our events!

Our plans for the next academic year (so far!) include:
🌈 Introduce a Buddy Bench in the playground
🐰 Provide ongoing support for our school farm animals
💸 Contribute to every class fund so every child benefits
