Instead of sending Christmas cards this year, I have donated to the Charity Men Walk Talk. A wonderful client of mine introduced me to this charity and whilst I haven’t personally used their support, I genuinely see the value in their charitable work and it’s a pleasure to donate some money in support of their work.
So from me, a very happy, merry and joyous Christmas to you all, and a healthy and peaceful 2025.

There can be so much pressure for us to feel a certain way during ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ but that isn’t always the reality.

Here is your reminder that your feelings are valid and it’s okay to feel whatever you feel as we head into this week leading up to Christmas.

Whatever this season looks like for you, remember you are important and you are enough just as you are. Be kind to yourself and look after yourself 🫶🏻✨

Today is , a day for us to come together and talk openly about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. At MenWalkTalk, this is something we strive to do every day but it is great to have a day where this is highlighted globally.

This year’s theme is workplace mental health, focussing on the importance of addressing health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations and communities.

Let’s use today to step out. To have a conversation, to check in with someone, to open up if you feel you need to. Our mental health and wellbeing is so important so let’s come together and help end the stigma around mental health 🙌🏻

When I decided to do some walking and raise money for a charity, I never thought it would end up like this ,
Walking is my go to activity, the best anti depressant which works for me.
I found Men Walk Talk when looking for a charity, mens mental health and walking (brilliant)
So my daughter set me up with a page both personal and Walk 180 Miles with Lee , I picked four challenges I could easily access and then started training.
When I look back now over the last year and think ,
I've told my own story, I've met and talked to people who have had their own stories to tell , I've had the most fantastic support from people who I've done work for , people I used to work with , people who I haven't seen for years , people I met on holiday and not forgetting family and friends , I had someone give a donation when leaving at local shop ,
I hope together we have raised awareness into mental health , and help a great charity with some money .
I will confess while doing the challenges, I fell over SIX times (all very embarrassing), but looking back despite complaining at the time I enjoyed all 180 miles.
But I would just like to say a massive thank you for all the support you have given me , I've made some new friends and learnt so much,
I'll leave the page going and will post some walks I do over the winter,
Next year maybe a bit quieter but 2026 I might go again with different challenges,

Thanks again for all your support
Money raised £1305 plus £257:50 gift aid

Total £1562:50 thank you so much

01/10/2024

Hi all , thank you all very much for all the donations,

Total raised £1285 + £252.50 gift aid=£1537:50

Many thanks Lee
