Yesterday our Training Band enjoyed performing at the Chinnor & Thame Friends of the Earth Green Living Fayre. Thankfully the rain stayed away for us to play outside and entertain the crowd!

🎶 Summer Brass in the Countryside 🎶

Join us for a fantastic evening of live music at The Nut Tree Inn, Murcott, as a massed band featuring players from Chinnor Silver Band, local Salvation Army bands and other guest musicians comes together in support of The Brainstorm Charity.

📅 Sunday 28th June
📍 The Nut Tree Inn, Murcott
⏰ Event starts at 5pm | Music from 6pm
🎟️ Free entry (suggested donation £5)

Bring a chair or blanket, soak up the summer atmosphere and enjoy an evening of brass band favourites in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

Feeling hungry? Howe & Co's famous fish and chip van will be on site serving food throughout the evening. 🍟

All donations will support the wonderful work of The Brainstorm Charity.

A great community band rehearsal on Monday with 21 of us present, with our youngest player being Lucy, from our Training band (School inset day!) Brass Bands are unique in their ability to bring such a wide age range of people together to enjoy their hobby - not many hobbies provide this opportunity and we feel very blessed 🙏😊
