Thanks to Lynne Crighton for this update on road closure in the village and access to our meeting tomorrow

Traffic update: I have just spoken with the guys working on the road above the Hollow. They have assured me that, although closed to vehicles, the road between the Cross and the Village Hall will always be open to pedestrians. So access to our meeting tomorrow is okay for locals wanting to walk.

Fun afternoon at WI today - playing board games old and new.
Lots of chatter, competitive playing, dodgy tactics and , of course, lots of laughter. Great to be in such lovely company …. Now we are planning for Hey Day - here is a clue to our stalls !

Our WI banner was as part of the Village Donkey procession to celebrate Palm Sunday .

Some super skilful members of our WI craft group have made a vibrant banner in readiness for the Child Okeford Donkey Procession on Palm Sunday -29th March . It will be part of the village procession from our Community Centre to St Nicholas’ Church from 10am.

WORLD STRING INSTRUMENTS : a musical talk.......
Musician and performer, Rick Potter, will give take us on a musical journey along the Silk Road with his wide variety of musical instruments from around the world.
