Fancy learning to bake three very different breads from a single dough? We've teamed up with Italian home baker Pietro Pagani from The Alternative Table for a brand-new Bread Making Course at Bore Place.
Over the day, you'll learn to make one very versatile dough by hand and turn it into a classic tin loaf, a herb focaccia and a sweet cinnamon swirl - no mixer, no sourdough starter, no special equipment needed.
We're using stoneground flour from Nonington Farms in Kent and butter from Chiddingstone Dairy, just down the road, so you'll see exactly how good local ingredients change the way a dough behaves.
The day is built around the dough's natural resting periods, so there's plenty of time to watch, ask questions and eat - including a shared lunch of freshly baked focaccia. You'll leave with three breads baked with your own hands, printed recipe cards, and the confidence to do it all again at home.
Suits complete beginners and anyone who's tried bread making before and been disappointed with the result. It also makes a great gift or day out for two.
