Tonight’s Canoe Club Session – CANCELLED

Unfortunately, tonight’s club session has had to be cancelled as we don’t have enough volunteer coaches available to run the session safely.

We’re really sorry for the late notice and any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of our club members has to come first.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see everyone back on the water next week ! 🛶

Just a quick note to let everyone know that club is still on as normal this evening.
Due to work commitments, our volunteer instructors may not arrive until around 5:40–5:45pm, so the containers may be locked when members first arrive.

Please don’t worry if you arrive and find the containers locked, someone will be there shortly to open up and get everything ready.
Thanks for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you all tonight! 👍

☀️ Following the Met Office Extreme Heat Warning and in the interests of participant, volunteer, and parent welfare, we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow's paddling session.

Whilst paddlesport is a water-based activity, the risks associated with travel, equipment handling, exposure to high temperatures and supervising activities in these conditions are considered too great. We appreciate this may be disappointing, but the safety and well-being of everyone involved must come first. ☀️

Keep safe, hydrated and cool. We will see you on the water next week!

For those of you coming along tonight, please dress for the weather as the wind will make it feel a bit chilly. Spray top will be available, but if you would rather bring a light weight (non padded) water proof coated, then that will be fine. A quick reminder that shoes must be warn on the water and around the huts, and please do not wear jeans out on the water 👍

See you all later this evening 😎
