💜 Thank You, Hunston! 💜

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Hunston Parish Council has donated £171 worth of toiletries to My Sisters' House Women's Centre, helping to support women in need across our local area.

If you'd like to contribute to future collections, you can donate toiletries via the collection box in the corridor at Hunston Village Hall, or drop items off at the Hunston Parish Office or the Hunston Club.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Thank you for your continued support!

Well this is awkward… 🎄

It appears our Christmas tree has decided to leave Hunston Village Hall before Christmas and without saying goodbye. While we admire its independent spirit, we would very much like it to return home please.

If someone has “borrowed” it, “rescued” it, or it’s accidentally wandered off with you, rest assured — its absence has been noticed. 👀

Please could it find its way back to the hall at the earliest opportunity. Thank you kindly from the slightly-less-festive-than-planned Village Hall😄

🌿 PW Pond Power Project – EVENT POSTPONED!! 🌿

We’re sorry to share that the PW Pond Power Project volunteer day, which was due to take place on Monday, 24th November 2025, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

The organisers are working on arranging a new date, which will be announced as soon as possible.

Thank you to everyone who had planned to come along and support the project — your enthusiasm and willingness to help make Hunston greener is truly appreciated. 🌱💚

🌿 Join the PW Pond Power Project! 🌿
Date: Monday, 24th November 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Church Lane Pond, Hunston (Opposite Spire Cottage)
Parking at REAR of Hunston Village Hall – short walk to the site.

Help us restore the pond banks by clearing brambles, hops, and nettles so wildflowers and fruit trees can thrive, creating a better habitat for water voles.

✅ No experience needed – it’s like extreme gardening!
✅ Refreshments and chairs provided
✅ Wear long sleeves, trousers, and sturdy boots
