Roll up! Roll up! *SOUND ON*
What a fantastic afternoon we had at our Chew Chat Summer Party last Sunday!
With the sun shining (and thankfully a little cooler than it had been!), more than 50 Chew Chatters and their families came together for an afternoon packed with carnival fun.
We had clowns... well, our very own John and Roy!
We had amazing acrobats from Ghingo, with Seb and Fra dazzling everyone with their incredible skills.
We had juggling, interactive dancing, traditional fete games from Human Slots and Hook a Duck, plus plenty of delicious hot dogs and ice cream to keep everyone fuelled for the fun.
Most importantly, we had exactly what Chew Chat is all about... laughter, friendship and a lot of fun!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. From those who served food, ran stalls and kept everything ticking along, to everyone who mucked in behind the scenes, we couldn't have done it without you.
An extra shout out goes to our friends from the Chew Magna Society, who were up at the crack of dawn to help us erect nine gazebos, set out all the tables and chairs, and transform the cricket ground ready for the afternoon. You are absolute stars, and we are so grateful for your support.
