There is a lot happening in the world and in our community right now. It can feel confusing and worrying for adults, so imagine how it might feel for teenagers.

This Tuesday 6.00–7.30pm our doors are open for Teen Talks. A relaxed space for secondary school–aged young people to come along, bring a drink or snacks, sit down and just chat about life.

No pressure, just conversation and a listening ear.

This is, and always will be, a free activity and everyone is welcome. 💬

Sometimes teenagers just need space.
Space to talk.
Space to think.
Space to feel heard without judgement.

Teen Talks is a small, supportive group for young people who may be navigating anxiety, confidence struggles, friendship issues, school pressure, or simply the ups and downs of growing up.

It offers:

• A calm, respectful environment
• Gentle support around mental wellbeing
• Space to talk openly, or simply listen
• Encouragement to express thoughts in a healthy way
• Small groups where every young person matters

There is never any pressure to share. Some teens speak a lot, others take their time. Both are absolutely fine.

If you feel your teen might benefit from a safe, understanding space, please feel free to message for more information.

Teen Talks is growing slowly — and that’s intentional.

Small groups mean:
young people feel safer
new faces aren’t overwhelming
connections happen naturally

If your teen might benefit from something like this, you’re welcome to message anytime.

This week at Teen Talks is Hang Out session.

Sometimes this looks like chatting.
Sometimes it looks like playing a game.
Sometimes it looks like what’s called parallel play.

That simply means being in the same space, doing your own thing - but not alone.

For some young people, that’s the easiest and safest way to connect.

No pressure.
No expectations.
Just space to be yourself around others.

Free weekly sessions.
Small groups.
Message for details.

Hi, I’m Rob, lead mentor at Teen Talks,

I work in a school where I have supported young people, including those with SEND. I’m also a parent of two teens - one of whom is autistic.

I’m autistic myself, and I remember what it felt like to struggle to “fit in”.

Teen Talks grew from that place.

Teen Talks isn’t just about neurodivergence, it’s for all those in secondary-school-age group that may need a space to be available to them, to help form connections.

It’s not about fixing young people or teaching them how to be different.
It’s about giving them space to feel comfortable as they are.

Small groups.
Low pressure.
Real connections.

If you ever want to know more, just message the page.
