Good luck to all our Year 6s doing their SATs and our Year 11s starting their GCSE exams this week! 🌟

We know some of our Scouts and Young Leaders may be feeling nervous, worried, or under pressure right now — and that’s completely normal. Remember that exams don’t define who you are. What matters most is trying your best, believing in yourselves, and being proud of how far you’ve come already. 💜

Take a deep breath, get plenty of rest, and remember that everyone at 34th Chesterfield (Brimington) Scouts is cheering you on every step of the way. You’ve got this! 🦫🐺🐿️

Happy St George’s Day!

Today, Scouts are coming together to celebrate St George — the patron saint of Scouts and England!

Our founder, Robert Baden-Powell, chose St George as our inspiration because of his courage, faith, and strong sense of duty. Just like the legend of facing dragons, Scouts are encouraged to tackle challenges head-on, show determination, and never give up.

St George’s Day is also a special time for us to reflect on our values, renew our Scout Promise, and continue doing our best in everything we do.

Whether it’s helping others, learning new skills, or taking on adventures, every Scout is “fighting dragons” in their own way every day!
