Just two days to go, and the weather looks like it is going to be kind. Please come along to Tapton Lock Visitor Centre, and Junction rts Festival on Saturday and say hello. Drinks, hot and cold, ice cream, snacks and sandwiches are available and nice comfortable seating are. Fancy a boat trip, for free? If so this is the place to be.

The new windows are in at Tapton Lock, and how wonderful they look, thanks to Frametech Bespoke. The boys were very adaptable and we managed to stay open throughout the refit. We are almost there with the outdoor signs too. Why don't you pop down to see us soon, this weekend is Bank Holiday so another day out, or next Saturday 5th September is the Tapton Lock Festival with Junction Arts.
September is our Authors month, so we will be displaying some local books and information on the authors. If you are an aspiring author, young or old feel free to bring your stories or books along. Time to get noticed.

With two weeks to go a quick reminder that the Tapton Lock festival is just around the corner. Whilst visiting the festival please call and take a look at Tapton's new look now the replacement windows are completed. The cafe is brighter already although a little more decorating is required.
Hot drinks, cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks and ice cream will be available.
Face painting for the young and old will be at Tapton Lock too. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Starting on Monday 10th August there will be some essential outside work on our building. We intend to stay open all the time but may be serving from the back door at times.

Please continue to visit us whilst this work is underway to improve Tapton Lock Visitor Centre, for us and also you our lovely customers.

Over the weekend the banks of Chesterfield Canal will come alive with outdoor theatre, music and dance, arts and crafts workshops, stalls, a climbing wall, ‘have a go’ canoes, boat rides and much more.

With just one day to go until our first birthday, the volunteers are finishing off the final touches. If its sunny, lots of outdoor seating, if not so sunny indoor seating too, and Greg has stocked up with sandwiches. Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend.

Looking for somewhere to go next weekend?
Wondering what to do now school holidays have begun?
Why not come to Tapton Lock Visitor Centre and join us in our 1st Birthday celebrations, on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th, we will be open 10am ~ 4pm.
Come and look at what we have achieved in our first year, and our plans for the future. Look forward to seeing you there.
