THINKFEST 2026!💙

On Saturday, we celebrated our 5th Thinkfest and what an incredible day it was! Bringing everyone together to celebrate and showcase the amazing charities and organisations across Derbyshire that support mental health.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the day, whether you hosted a stall, helped behind the scenes, supported the performers, joined a workshop, or simply came along to look around. We appreciate every single one of you!

And finally, a very special thank you to Ellie, who made all of this possible. She works tirelessly each year to create this incredible and important event, providing a safe and welcoming space for people to come together, access support, and connect with valuable resources. Thinkfest wouldn’t be the success it is without all the hard work and dedication she puts into it so thank you, Ellie!

‼️1 WEEK TO GO‼️

ThinkFest! 2026 is just 1 week away and we are so excited to be hosting Derbyshire's annual festival to get people thinking and talking about mental health during Mental Health Awareness Week, this year we have a theme of 'connecting through kindness'. Each year so many important conversations happen, as well as awareness and breaking down that stigma that surrounds mental health and su***de.

Our festival is made up of 3 elements, our 'Mental Health Market', lining the streets of the town centre with support and information about local services, groups and organisations. A selection of free workshops, an opportunity for the general public to try something and get a taster session of activities they can do to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. Finally we bring a line up of live performers to keep you entertained for the day!

We can't wait to see you there and also show you what our amazing GBF Choir have been working on over the past few months!

Today is our wonderful choir directors birthday!!

Ellie puts her absolute all into making each choir session happen, and giving our young people a beautiful space to sing and uplift each other!
She puts her all into the foundation and none of it would be possible without her hard work and dedication!

Today is all about celebrating you and the wonderful role model and person you are! We hope you’ve had a lovely day, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you tomorrow at choir!
