Well, the reviews are in for the concert on Saturday. The Mozart is well known repertoire, but the audience were spellbound by the Forrest Requiem for the Living. We have collated a few comments.
From audience
• You touched a great deal of people tonight. One member of the audience thanked us for introducing the Forrest to them, another said it was like they were all engaged in prayer for the world!

• it was so moving - my daughters said that the atmosphere in the audience was electric afterwards, everyone was talking about it. An experience none of us will forget.
• The concert was a thoroughly enjoyable, transporting experience. You filled the acoustic space with harmony and somehow descriptive dynamic atmospheric sound creations - Thank you so much
• last night was beautiful. I loved the second Requiem especially.
• It was so emotional and my audience members said it was the best thing they'd heard us do
• My daughter came for the first time ever to one of our concerts. She doesn't like classical music but she was buzzing ... "it was just so fricking cool!"
• My husband said a comment from behind him in the audience was just - Wow!!
• Everyone... I just want to say that were amazing tonight, It was fantastic! Requiem for the Living was powerful... I literally had goosebumps! It really was special.

I can’t remember us ever achieving a standing ovation before and the word from many was that the Forrest was astonishing! Both soloists and musicians thoroughly enjoyed being with us! You more than made me proud! Thank you and well done!

• What an extraordinary experience! In an attempt to say something different, I have been pondering what exactly made it so memorable and different to any previous performance. Without a doubt ……. Collective Emotion! I thought every performer really captured the mood of the piece.
