On Friday 2 October we will be welcoming Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service for a community open evening.

This is your chance to meet the team, ask questions and hear directly about:

🔥 The different roles available within Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service
🔥 The work they do to support and protect our communities

You don’t need to already be considering a career in the fire service, this evening is open to everyone*who would like to come along, learn more and have a conversation.

Volunteers needed 💚

Volunteers are a huge part of what keeps ACCA going, and there are so many different ways you can get involved.

You don’t need to commit to everything, and you don’t need to have a specific skill set. You might enjoy helping at events, supporting activities, welcoming people into the centre, helping behind the scenes, sharing ideas or getting involved with something that matches your own interests.

The most important thing is finding a way to help that works for you.

If you’d like to volunteer with ACCA, come and have a chat with us. Tell us what you enjoy, what you’re interested in and how much time you have available, and we can look at where you might fit in.

Every bit of support makes a difference to the work we’re able to do in our community.

A community centre should be more than a building.

It should be somewhere you recognise faces.

Somewhere you can come for lunch, attend an event, learn something new, meet somebody you might never have met otherwise or simply feel part of something.

That's what we want ACCA to continue being.

A place for our community, shaped by our community.

It’s back!

Join us for another year of great fun! Come visit us, say hello, try some goodies and be a part of our community ❤️

Over the weekend the banks of Chesterfield Canal will come alive with outdoor theatre, music and dance, arts and crafts workshops, stalls, a climbing wall, ‘have a go’ canoes, boat rides and much more.
