👕♻️ REMINDER: OLD CLOTHES COLLECTION

A little reminder that our PTFA clothes collection is coming up next week! 🛍️

If you’re having a clear-out, please save any good-quality, clean and dry items that you no longer need. Your unwanted items can help raise funds for our school through textile recycling!

✅ What can you donate?
👚 Good-quality clothing
👜 Handbags and accessories
👟 Clean, paired shoes
🧸 Toys in good working condition
💍 Costume jewellery
🧴 Unused cosmetics
🛁 Bath and hand towels
🎁 Unwanted gifts

📅 When to bring your bags in:

* Tuesday 20th October
* Wednesday 21st October
* Thursday 22nd October

⏰ A PTFA member will be at the school reception between 8:45am and 9:15am each morning to collect your bags.

📌 Collection day is Thursday 22nd October.

Please use the clothing bag provided, but you can use an additional bag if needed.

🎄 Highfield PTFA Christmas Card Fundraiser! 🎨

Our Christmas card fundraiser is officially underway! 🎅✨

The children have been busy creating their own lovely designs, and today an order form has been sent home with each child, including a link to place your order.

If you’d like to order Christmas cards (plus other items!) featuring your child’s very own artwork, please make sure you place your order by Saturday 24th October. 🖍️🎄

🎁 The PTFA receives a small commission from each order placed, helping us raise funds to provide extra resources, experiences and opportunities for the children at Highfield - so you can get your Christmas cards sorted while supporting our school at the same time!

📩 Lost your order form? No problem! Just email us at [email protected] with your child’s name and class, and we’ll send you the order link.

💙🏃‍♀️ A HUGE THANK YOU, HIGHFIELD! 🏃‍♀️💙

A massive thank you to everyone who donated at our collection after school today! We raised £78.10 towards Edina's goal for our Highfield children!

Edina and Oliver are taking on their run this Sunday 11th October, raising money to give the children at Highfield a special treat. We’re so grateful to Edina for organising this and for everyone who has supported her so far! 🥰

We’d especially love to welcome families who are considering EYFS provision and would like to come along, meet us and find out a little more about Highfield.

🏃‍♀️ RUNNING FOR HIGHFIELD! ❤️

We’ve got a lovely fundraiser to share with you!

Highfield parent Edina is taking on the official Chester Triple running challenge this year! Having already completed the Chester 10K and Chester Half Marathon, she’s now taking on her very first Chester Metric Marathon to complete the challenge. 👏🏼🏃‍♀️

Edina has decided to use this amazing challenge to raise money for the Highfield Community Primary School PTFA, as a special thank you to the school for the support her son Oliver receives.

Oliver is in Year 2 and has selective mutism, and Edina wanted to give back to the teachers who do so much to make Oliver feel safe, happy and understood at school. ❤️

Every penny raised will go towards supporting the children at Highfield through the PTFA.

🌈 IMPORTANT COLOUR RUN UPDATE 🌈

Due to the forecasted heatwave and temperatures expected to exceed 30°C, school have made the decision to postpone the Colour Run.

📅 New Date: Friday 17th July

All entries, t-shirts and waivers will automatically transfer to the new date, so there is nothing you need to do.

We know the children have been looking forward to this event, and so have we! Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
