Week 6 of Our Best Chance - ‘Feel the Heat’ 🔥

We had a blast making our own Pizza Bagels with healthy fresh ingredients, from pesto to pineapple🍍.

We had a special guest visit from Judith at the Melanoma Fund to teach us how to be safe in the sun 🌞 (yes, even in cloudy October the UV was high enough to turn our special bands violet!).

We also loved whizzing around on Live’s adapted bikes 🚲, as well as some more mindful seated Tai Chi.

We're joining the conversation from the 12th October to the 18th October to raise awareness of Dyspraxia, a condition which affects some of the members we support here at Live!

Dyspraxia is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect coordination, motor skills, organisation, and everyday activities.

While challenges can impact daily life, many people with dyspraxia continue to thrive with the right understanding, support, and opportunities.

By increasing understanding and challenging misconceptions, we can help create a more inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. ✨💛

We'll be out cheering on Emily, who is taking on the Chester Marathon in support of Live! Completing the marathon will earn Emily her Triple Status, all while raising vital funds to support our charity.

Looking for a friendly, welcoming event? 💛

Storyhouse Elders brings people together through creativity, community, and connection, helping to tackle loneliness and social isolation.

The Storyhouse Elder events and activities are held with older adults in mind, but there are a range of pay what you can workshops and social groups available for all to attend. ✨

We're also pleased to share that Live! Patchwork Choir will be performing the closing Friday, and we'd love to see you there supporting this fantastic event! 🎭✨

✨ Youth Clubs Weekly Update! ✨

Our All Stars had a fantastic time taking part in Cosmic Yoga, where yoga sequences came to life through fun, story-based adventures inspired by popular movies, books, and characters! 🌟🧘

Meanwhile, our Inbetweeners enjoyed an exciting trip to the bowling alley, showing off their skills, cheering each other on, and having lots of fun along the way 🎳🙌

Over the past few weeks, our members have gained valuable knowledge and practical skills with managing their finances.

We're so grateful for the time and support from the team at Money Management provided throughout the course.
