We loved working with Cheshire's The Grange new Year 7 cohort this morning using interactive theatre and discussion to explore the exciting opportunities (and some of the worries) that can come with starting high school. 📚🚌

The “Moving Up” session gave pupils the opportunity to ask questions and challenge worries, helping them feel more confident as they begin this exciting new chapter. 🌟

We kicked off the new academic year with a group icebreaker session at the University of Salford to launch this year’s “Plug Into Salford”programme.🧊🎉

This initiative is all about supporting young people who are the first in their family to attend university, helping them to transition into student life with confidence.

It was fantastic to see students getting involved in our activities, meeting new people and having open conversations about their hopes, challenges and fears as they begin this exciting new chapter.

💬 “Attending the production made me feel much more confident about joining secondary school, and now I have a plan so I do not get lost in the big building!”

We are delighted to share the fantastic feedback from our communication training workshops with student nurses from the University of Chester.🧑‍⚕️

⭐ From 957 responses 99% agreed the training was beneficial to their learning and professional development!

⭐ Students reported improvements in key interpersonal skills, helping them feel more prepared for their future roles as nurses!

More Summer School! 📸✨

Through drama dance and music, this year’s theme of “The Future” gave young people the opportunity to explore what the future could look like, reflect on the changes shaping our world and share their own hopes for the future. 🌍

Alongside the creative activities, they also got a taste of university life by spending time on campus and learning more about the opportunities that higher education can offer. 🎓🌟
