We used the power of theatre to raise awareness of modern slavery and exploitation at the Community Conference in the London Borough of Bexley earlier this week.
As part of the event, we performed Risking It All - our thought-provoking theatre production exploring grooming, county lines and child criminal exploitation.
Through the performance, we raised awareness of how young people can be targeted and exploited, highlighted the warning signs, and encouraged important conversations about keeping young people safe.
It was incredibly moving to hear from Sosa Henkoma who shared his powerful lived experience story, alongside The Salvation Army who spoke about their vital work supporting survivors of modern slavery and exploitation.

By raising awareness and opening up conversations, we can help people recognise exploitation and know how to respond.
