This year was an absolutely brilliant one for the City Nature Challenge in the Chester region, and it’s all thanks to you!

A massive thank you and well done to everyone who joined in to make it such a huge success. 🙌🌿
Look at what we achieved together in just 4 days:
📝17,000+ wildlife records collected
🌸1,240 different species documented!

Globally, 62 countries took part, crushing it with over 3 million observations! 🌍💥
We feel incredibly proud to be part of such an amazing community of organisations and individuals. By working together, we made this a fantastic year for recording wildlife both around Chester and across the globe. 💚

A massive thank you to everyone who headed out last weekend. Whether you organised an event, joined a guided recording day or recorded solo in your back garden, you made this happen!

We are blown away by the number of observers and species recorded. It’s a true testament to the incredible biodiversity we have right here in our city.

We’re teaming up with hundreds of cities worldwide to document as much wildlife as possible in four action-packed days. Beyond being a fun way to get outdoors, this is a vital citizen science project, every observation helps us protect the incredible biodiversity right here on our doorstep.
