Invisible injuries are still real. We know that understanding starts with awareness, and awareness can change lives. A little awareness can make a big difference. How can you make a difference to someone living with a brain injury? Did you know sometimes understanding, and simply listening can mean more than you realise.

Our coffee mornings provide a safe space to connect with others to combat loneliness and isolation. This week, we’re standing with people across Cheshire living with the long‑term effects of head injury to let them know they are not alone. So many challenges are invisible, but the strength it takes to face them every day is extraordinary. Understanding and small acts of kindness can make someone feel seen.
Please share or donate through our website www.hipincheshire.org to show your support

Those with a brain injury often look fine, with the challenges they cope with on a daily basis being invisible to others. They may become quieter, often needing calm and space to cope, while finding it hard to put into words the challenges they face each day.
Do you know anyone who lives with a brain injury, what if the hardest struggles someone faces are the ones no one else can see?

Today had the priviledge to with HIP members and members of the Acquired Brain Injury team for afternoon tea. This gave us a safe space to talk and spend time with those who have awareness of the challenges faced by those with a brain injury. We were also fortunate to have the premier viewing of a video staring Donna, A tasty treat does goes down well too, so why ever not!!! ry - what an achievement to do this.....well done Donna. Brilliant premier of video by Donna who shared her experiences of life after a brain injury which was so powerful. Thank you Donna for the courage to do this, and provide hope for so many others with a brain Injury.

It is our aim that no person in Cheshire who has experienced a head injury should feel lonely or isolated. Support what we do by a small donation or taking the time to understand more about brain injury. Many people can feel isolated after a brain injury.
Support and connection can make a huge difference.
Please share to help raise awareness for H.I.P. Cheshire 💙
