Meet the Committee...

You may have noticed as we've introduced you to the committee, that we haven't introduced you to our treasurer, the keeper of the funds.

Currently David Lloyd-Williams is taking the majority of the heavy lifting, but supported by the whole committee as the role became vacant during our 2024 AGM.

If you would be interested in joining the committee in general, or as our treasurer, please reach out to Martin King by DM or to our group DM.

Meet the committee...

The face behind all our social media posts is Angela McLoughlin BEng MBCS.

Angela supports with all our events and manages our social media across both LinkedIn and Facebook.

Outside of the BCS, Angela runs her own business, Angel Analysis Ltd, supporting clients with all elements of .

It may not leave much spare time, but she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Meet the Committee...

Our newest member of the committee, only joining us in late 2024, he is filled with enthusiasm and great ideas. It's the one and only Jiten Bhardwaj!

Jiten knows his stuff when it comes to change and transformation, but as he's new to us, we don't yet know too much about him.

I'm sure he'll introduce himself further below.

Let's say hi to Stuart Cunningham, by day a senior lecturer at the University of Chester.

By night (so to speak) a key general committee member, filling us with good ideas, supports the set up and running of our events.

I think it's safe to say we'd be lost without him.

In addition to supporting our branch, Gordon also works for the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, a great link between all the great community work that is being undertaken.

Welcome to our Secretary David Lloyd-Williams, the king of scheduling our committee meetings, we're sure it must be like herding cats at times.

David is an specialist, supporting clients in implementing solutions for his clients.

If you have an idea for an event, it's David that keeps track of all our ideas and speakers for us. We really are in his safe hands.

Welcome Charles Ryder our Vice Chair.

We have to say that Charles is rather incredible. He may have retired from Project Management, but he still knows his stuff.

That is if you can catch him. Charles has grabbed retirement with both hands, from being on the water, playing rugby and running! We wonder what this weekend will bring for him 🤔

Welcome to 2025!

We thought it would be a good idea to introduce you to our committee, starting with our Chair.

Please let me introduce Martin King. Martin has been our chair for several years now. How he finds the time we're not sure sure, but he's our rock!

His day job as an IT Director leaves him very familiar with the world of IT & Change.

Outside of work, Martin loves spending time with his family, but still finds the time to keep us on the straight and narrow too!

Please say hi, I'm sure Martin will tell you a little something else about himself too 😀

Thank you for all your support during 2024, we're sure you'd agree that we've had brilliant speakers, wonderful venues and lots of laughs along the way.
