Each year since 2018 Chester Pride, offers a space at the table for anyone from the LGBT+ and wider community of Chester and surrounding areas who maybe along or simply can't afford the cost of Christmas.

This comes at a cost of around £700 which needs covering to be able to help around 30 people each year.

Guests are treated to
🎄A hot and cold style buffet
🎄A personalized Christmas card and small gift
🎄Taxi transport to and from the event
🎄Entertainment such as prize bingo, Quiz's and crafting activities

Ideally, we need to raise around £700 to cover the costs, as in previous years, we ensure no food goes to waste, with food parcels made up and hand delivered to any member of the homeless community out on the streets of Chester on Christmas day and unused food being sent to homeless charities across the city or the local foodbank.

The event is run by a small team of volunteers who donate their time, to ensure others are not alone on Christmas day.

We invite you to an enchanted evening with Wild Moon Distillery and their magical range of Welsh Witch spirits, inspired by the Celtic Wheel of the Year.

Enjoy a captivating talk about their signature spirits, how they are crafted, and how witchcraft is woven into every bottle. Accompanying your samples, you can choose from a range of mixers, light snacks, and a complimentary cocktail on arrival.

Join us to kick off your Halloween season early with a magical evening alongside your fellow witches, and fall in love with a delicious new brand!

This week marks a national hate crime awareness campaign, something that sadly effects our community.

We work very closely with Cheshire West and Chester Council Cheshire Police and Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner on hate crime issues, to the point that the Rainbow Tea Rooms is a third party hate crime reporting center and holds regular police surgeries to report, seek advice and support.
