Dear Friends and Supporters of C*C, it is that time of year again!
We are off to The Gambia in just under a week!
Would you consider donating a bag of rice to feed a family in Gambia?! There is nothing more rewarding than to see what a little extra rice can do for a family in need. For £20 you can purchase a 20 kilo sack of rice which can feed them for an astonishing 6 months.
We know it is a difficult time of the year and it can be hard to fork out for such things so if you are struggling how about asking a friend or a relative to go halves for it? Then you could just each pay £10 instead of £20.
C*C members work so hard to fundraise and to help meny people when we visit our Gambian friends but we know that the support of our UK friends and family, not to mention their friends and family and so on has been essential in helping us achieve the wonders we have.
In a Gambian compound there may be a dozen hungry children. Some have been orphaned while others can’t be cared for by their own parents. The little extra money that a family has is than spent other things the family need that they couldn't normally afford. Otherwise many children go to school havign not eaten and won't eat all day either.
C*C can assure you that we will personally deliver each sack donated and on our return your personalised photo Of the moment we gave your donation to a family in need will be posted on our page with a message from your family.
