Lord's Taverners Cheshire, North Wales and Wirral The Lord's Taverners is a charity that helps to "Give young people particularly those with special needs a sporting chance".

This is the page for the Cheshire and North Wales Taverners. We regularly host fundraising events throughout the year. The North West Region have made donations of just over £3 Million to projects in the local area
over the last 10 years - a summary is as follows:-

1605 youth cricket equipment bags - value £286,075
144 non-turf pitch grants - value £312,795
£36,396 invested into cricket coaching

grants such as he Wicketz Programme focused on
getting young kids playing cricket and Table Crricket aimed physically disabled children. The finals of which are played a Lords Cricket Ground.
42 specially adapted minibuses each valued today at around £53,00
58 grants to purchase sensory and adapted playground equipment for disabled youngsters
valued at £182,236
40 sport wheelchair grants for local wheelchair basketball clubs and individuals
All of the above has been granted to provide youngsters who are disadvantaged and disabled to have a sporting chance.
