What a super guy and a massive loss - an enormous supporter and contributor to our biggest 1 day event of the year. All us tablers will remember him and what he added to the event.

Won't be the same in 2027 without him, we're really sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Alan.

Thanks The Martin Gallier Project for the kind post - we are honoured to be able to support you all and the fantastic work you do in our city. People walk past your frontage on St Werbergh St every day and have no idea what life saving interventions are being carried out every day.

We look forward to supporting you again!

What an incredible bunch! 👏🖤

A huge thank you to Chester Round Table, who have raised an amazing £5,500 for The Martin Gallier Project, while also raising funds to support SPACE too.

We absolutely love what these guys are doing for their local community. Their energy, generosity and commitment to supporting local organisations is pretty special.

With each life-saving su***de intervention costing us an average of around £80, their incredible £5,500 donation will fund around 68 su***de interventions. That’s 68 opportunities to be there for someone in their darkest moment and help them find a third option.

It was brilliant to get Chester Round Table and Team MGP together to celebrate what they’ve achieved, and this is only the beginning. 🫶

We’re really looking forward to working in partnership with Chester Round Table, building on this relationship and seeing what we can achieve together.

Thank you to everyone involved 🖤

💥 What a result. Well done to all our guys who made this happen this summer. £11,000 straight back into charities based in Chester, supporting Cestrians every day.

Every penny we raise as a group is done to benefit our local community, making Chester a better place for all of us.

Thanks to everyone who came out! If you want to get involved, experience the feel good factor of making this happen for your city, get in touch - it's what being part of Round Table is all about!! ✊

Rafters, we are proud to announce our fundraising from this year's event!

£5,500 donated to The Martin Gallier Project
£5,500 donated to SPACE

For MGP, this means Chester Raft Race has funded 68 life saving su***de interventions - something we can all be incredibly proud to support.

SPACE provide incredible services to families living with additional needs, and this money will continue to allow them to do their amazing work in our city.

Thank you to all our sponsors - Salt Town Contractors Ltd Kingspan Insulation UK ChesterBoat Snugburys Ice Cream and MKM Building Supplies

Thanks also to all our entrants, the fantastic Chester Ladies Circle, our field vendors, the many raffle prize donators and everyone who bought a raffle ticket or dropped a coin in a bucket - it wouldn't have happened without all of you.

Finally, a pat on the back to the 20+ volunteers from Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table who planned and ran this event entirely in their own time as volunteers to make it happen. Well done chaps.

Here's to 2027 and going even bigger and better!
