I keep coming back to a question…

What would it have felt like to be guided through the journey from girl to maiden in a way that was held? Not surrounded by shame or awkwardness or silence, but actually witnessed.
Celebrated, even.
Held by women who weren’t uncomfortable with your changing body… but present with it - steady with it & willing to speak about it.
Women you could go to with anything. Questions, worries and curiosities. The messy in-between parts of growing up.
A village that didn’t just appear when things got difficult… but had been there all along.
Teaching you how to listen to your body, how to trust its signals - how to belong to yourself.

And this isn't about casting blame, it's about healing the threads that have been passed down.
This is the space I find myself trying to create now.

Mother & Maiden is a six-month circle for mothers and daughters aged 10–15.

It’s a place to come together while everything is changing.
To slow things down enough that we can actually hear each other again.
And for mothers… to gently meet what this stage stirs in us too - because so often, what we’re witnessing in our daughters is also what is asking to be softened in ourselves.
Not in a heavy way, in a human way.
In a “we didn’t get this either” kind of way.

We meet once a month. In circle. For two hours.
Beginning September.
Six months together.

If this speaks to something in you, you’re welcome. 🌹

Some evenings are not for doing, they are for softening.

For laying down what you've been carrying and releasing the tension you didn't realise you were holding. To remember that rest is not something to earn.

The Deep Exhale is a gentle evening of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Sound Healing, held in the warmth of The Barn Temple.

Together we move slowly, breathe deeply and listen inwardly.

A candlelit sanctuary where nothing is expected of you and nowhere else you need to be.

Just arrive as you are.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, stretched thin, or simply longing for a little more space within yourself, this evening is an invitation to pause and be held.

Come and exhale with us.

I wanted to share a little more about the 1:1 work I hold at The Barn Temple.
Over time, it’s become less about “treatments” and more about ceremony.
About creating space where women can soften… and actually feel themselves again.
These sessions weave together sacred anointing (inspired by the Myrrhophore tradition), intuitive energy work, tuning forks, rebozo practices, womb massage, womb Reiki and yoni steam ceremonies.
But really, it’s not about the list of modalities. It’s about what happens when a woman is finally given permission to stop holding everything alone.

I work with the womb, heart and throat as living centres of wisdom in the body, to listen more deeply to what’s already there.

Most women come during times of transition...
Motherhood shifts. Grief. Burnout. Perimenopause. Change they can’t quite name yet. Or simply that quiet inner sense of “I need something different now.” And that’s enough.

These offerings are for women who are:
~ Standing at a threshold or navigating change
~ Moving through motherhood, perimenopause, grief, loss or transition
~ Longing to reconnect with their body, intuition and inner wisdom
~ Seeking rest from the demands of everyday life
~ Desiring a deeper relationship with ritual, prayer and self-devotion
~ Looking for a space where they can be witnessed, held and nourished
~ Feeling called towards a slower, more intentional way of being

If that’s you, you’re so welcome to reach out.
My 1:1 sessions are open at The Barn Temple. 🌹

Oh, I'm so happy to welcome Lola to The Barn Temple 🥹

From this coming Wednesday, Lola will be holding our 6:00–6:45pm Hatha Yoga class throughout the summer months.

From the moment we connected, I knew she carried the kind of gentle, nurturing energy that feels so aligned with the Temple. She teaches with warmth, care, and a deep respect for meeting people exactly where they are.

As many of you know, I've been listening closely to what my body needs this season and creating a little more space for rest and restoration. Knowing that this class will be held by someone whose values feel so beautifully aligned brings me enormous peace.

I couldn't be more grateful to welcome Lola into this community, and I'm so excited for you all to experience her teaching.

If you've been thinking about joining us on a Wednesday evening, this is the perfect time 🌹

Bookings are open via the website, and I'd be so grateful if you could share this post to help us give Lola a warm Temple welcome.

With love,

Laurie x

I know how many women are carrying too much right now.
Holding everyone else, pushing through exhaustion.
Trying to stay soft whilst living in survival mode.Longing to feel connected to themselves again.
And honestly… this offering was born from that place too. 🌹
The Rose & Womb Flow is the kind of space I wish more women had access to.
A space where you do not need to perform healing, a space where your body is not a project to fix, a space where you can simply exhale.

Within this space we move slowly - absolutely no need for you to worry about whether you're good at yoga - this is an embodied space where we breathe, we rest and we sit in circle.
We reconnect with the womb, the heart, the nervous system, the feminine self that can become so buried beneath responsibility and noise.
No pressure to share. No expectation to be anything other than human.

This circle is held on the last Sunday of every month 5-7pm 🌹❤️

As we move towards the end of May and into the fullness of the warmer months, we invite you to join us for an evening of deep rest, grounding and gentle nourishment at The Barn Temple ✨

This Friday 29th May | 7–9pm

Our Candlelit Sound Bath is an opportunity to slow down and soften. To let the body exhale. To be held in stillness, sound and community.

Surrounded by candlelight, you will be guided into a deeply restorative sound journey designed to support the nervous system and invite rest on every level.

We are also so happy to be joined by Darcia from Celestial Beauty & Wellness who will be offering Reiki throughout the evening, bringing another layer of care, calm and energetic support to the space 🤍

We will close the evening slowly together with herbal tea, ginger and chocolate as we gently ground back into the space before heading home.

Come as you are.
Tired, tender, overwhelmed, joyful, seeking.
There is nothing to perform here.

Just space to receive.
