Christmas in Malawi!🇲🇼

On Christmas day (thanks to your continued support) Luck and his team hosted a party for the children from our centres Tiziwane and Tovwane and the wider community, reaching out to 497 people.
They celebrated with food, music and local dance performances. It was an incredible effort from all concerned and resulted in a fun day for everyone. 😍

We just want to say a huge thank you for your continual support for 3rdWorld Hope, for maintaining Shaun's legacy and for helping to make this Christmas one to remember 💙

Hello everyone and welcome to the summer! ☀️🙌 How lucky we have been this year to experience such great weather - long may it continue! 🤞🤞

Jigsaw Curzon House are one of our oldest and most loyal supporters and, as always at this time of year, they have come up trumps again!

Instead of their annual 'Fun Day' to raise funds for 3rdWorldhope they have hosted a 'Fun Week' (increasing the enjoyment for the children but also increasing the workload for Claire and her staff!🤨)

They have raised a phenomenal £2556 for the charity! How wonderful is that!

Thank you so much to Claire and all the staff who helped provide so much fun for the children at the same time raising much needed funds for 3rd Worldhope.

It is at this time of year we try to purchase a bulk supply of maize for the forthcoming year when it is supposedly at its cheapest. However, inflation in Malawi now stands at 30% so the maize bill has trebled but unfortunately our donations obviously haven't!

We are so, so grateful to Claire and her staff......🥰

We are always looking for ways to raise funds so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please do get in touch.

Hello and a belated very Happy New Year to each and every one of you from us all at 3rd World Hope. We hope you enjoyed a fun and festive time over the Christmas period making memories with those you love 🎄❤️🎄

Luck and the team in Malawi, once again, provided a wonderful Christmas party for the children and the wider community. The children enjoyed a Christmas meal and a special treat of Coke or Fanta to wash it down! You can see how delighted they are in the photos! Dancers were brought in to provide fun and entertainment and Jigsaw Nursery, again, as they always do, provided gifts in the form of soaps and sweets for our preschool children. Thank you so much - your kindness brought lots of smiles to little faces this Christmas.

It was always Shaun's wish to spread joy amongst the children, especially at Christmas. Thank you for helping us to continue this.

As we enter another new year, we are determined to continue Shaun's legacy, feeding the children whilst also providing educational, health and business support. There are always challenges whether they be environmental, economical or political but we work through them as best we can. Inflation stands at nearly 30% with concern over election-related spending and increased food prices. There is a National fuel shortage affecting our minibus businesses. Purchases are more expensive and income is reduced. We are, therefore, more grateful than ever, for your continued support. We certainly couldn't do it without you!

On that note, if anyone has any creative fundraising ideas please do get in touch. We are always looking for ways to raise funds. Or just get in touch anyway - we are always delighted to hear from you ❤️

Every year Claire and all her wonderful staff at Jigsaw Curzon House Day nursery in Chester host their annual Fun Day to raise funds for 3rd World Hope. So much effort goes into the day as you can see from the photos. Unfortunately we were unable to share the day with them this year but the children, family and friends had a wonderful time and managed to raise a phenomenal £2813 for 3rd World Hope.

This money has come at a perfect time - we purchase an annual supply of maize in June as this is when it is at its cheapest. The cost of the bulk purchase is a staggering £10000. This fundraiser is a huge part of this figure.

We are so grateful to Claire, her staff and all involved in raising this fantastic amount for us! Thank you so much!💙

Another incredible fund raising event raising £1000 for 3rd World Hope!
Many thanks to all involved- Margaret Kiely for organising, Ian and all the staff at the Ring O Bells, Christleton for hosting, to local businesses for donating and to all our friends for supporting!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for Shaun’s gig at the Ucheldre Holyhead 💙🎶🇲🇼

We had an amazing night filled with talented musicians and felt as though Shaun was right there with us on what should have been his 40th birthday.

Together, we raised an incredible £2,510 for 3rd World Hope!

Your presence, support, and generosity made it all possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who joined us.
