HBC Chester

HBC Chester Bringing healing, wholeness and freedom to broken lives & communities as we expect great things from God and attempt great things with God

We see ourselves as a resource church , a hub church, a sort of “Urban Monastery", as we see our life together develop across five areas: – a house of prayer and worship, a base for mission, a community of healing and renewal, a place of learning and equipping, and a centre of prophetic creativity.

The Bereavement Journey is a 7 session series of films and discussion groups offered in person, that gently guides bereaved people through the most common aspects of grief and bereavement to help them process their loss. The discussions are facilitated by volunteers and accompanied by a Guest Manual. All of us will encounter bereavement at some stage. The grief we can experience will affect people in different ways. It can feel overwhelming at times. So we are running a course to help understand and come to terms with the many aspects of losing someone dear.

The next Bereavement Course starts on Thursday 16 April at 7pm for Light Refreshments.

The venue is Crossroads Community Hub, Dicksons Drive, Newton, Chester, CH2 2BH.

The course will run for 6 weeks with an optional 7th week on Thursday 4 June.

The cost for the whole course is £5
