On Saturday 15 August, our adopter Sarah, made the trek up to Snowdon and back - completing the trek, together with her family and a group of friends and supporters, in just over 8 hours.

Sarah has raised the phenomenal amount of £2,145 for Adoption Matters. Here she shares her story with Manchester Evening News ❤

❤️ Lancashire-based children’s charity Adoption Matters has welcomed new funding to deliver innovative support for adopted children, young people and families.

The charity will be involved in two pioneering projects funded through Adoption England’s Voluntary Adoption Agency Early Support Innovation Fund, helping families access earlier support before challenges escalate.

The projects include support for adopted pre-teens and teenagers, as well as peer-led communities for adoptive families.
