Incredible Edible Westminster Park

Are you interested in gardening? 🌱

We’d love a few more helping hands at the Westminster Park planters. Get involved with planting, growing and harvesting while getting to know your neighbours. We sometimes grab a coffee at the Emporium before or afterwards too, for a chat and to share ideas.

All ages welcome, and no tools or experience needed. Pop along today, Sunday, at 10.30am!

Fancy popping by this morning at the planters? 🌱

We’re looking for volunteers at the Westminster Park planters. Come along for planting, growing, harvesting, and meet some like-minded neighbours along the way. Sometimes we meet for a coffee before or after, and share ideas.

All ages welcome, no tools or experience needed. See you today, Sunday at 10.30am!

We picked this beetroot at the planters and the children loved the stripes inside! There are more ready to harvest, along with kale, chicory and cabbages. Help yourself! 🌱

We'll be at the park on the 11th October for the annual apple pressing event with Friends of Westminster Park. Come along with your apples (or there might be some to pick from the trees in the park) and containers between 11am and 3pm for freshly pressed juice! Free event.

Lots available free to harvest - help yourself! ☺️

Little pots, lots of excitement! 🌱

We had a lovely time at our community seed-growing session. Children chose their seeds, decorated their pots and planted something of their own to take home and grow. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

If you're free this Sunday, come along and join us at the planters at the co-op shops in Westminster Park to see what's ready to harvest.

These little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes are very tasty and are ready to be harvested. Check under the leaves as they are hiding 🙂

Will the promised consultation on glyphosate ever happen? A public debate around the renewal of the glyphosate license in the UK was promised this summer – but it hasn’t happened yet.

It’s time to tell the government you want to see action.
