We are absolutely blown away by the community spirit and generosity at this year's Soapbox Derby! We're thrilled to announce we raised a net £45,000 this year, bringing our 4-year total to an incredible £167,500! 🎉

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Our Community! 🌟

Although we’re a little late in sharing the news, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Farndon Soapbox Raffle, held on 14th September to raise funds for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

A special thank you goes to our local community and businesses who gave so generously with their donations and support – without you, this wouldn’t have been possible. We’re also grateful to everyone who bought and sold tickets and joined in so enthusiastically.

It’s amazing to see how strong our community is when everyone comes together to make a difference. The money raised goes directly to supporting the vital work of the Hospice, which provides care and comfort to families when they need it most.

our organisers kart built by Hugh Sym (Master of Ceremonies). Driven in heat two by Keith Popeye here. Heat three never arrived because of the extreme weather and high winds that cancelled the event for safety reasons so he didn't get to try out the gal himself. Boo hoo!!!!! 😂😜🥹
