🌻Another glorious day. 😎 The garden is looking very colourful as there are a variety of different flowers. Big ‘thank you’ to Linda who brought many plants which she’d started from seeds. Two more fruit trees were donated without labels so it’ll be exciting to see what they are! Thanks to everyone for coming today and to James for making the teas!!! 🫖🍪 Have a good weekend. 🪴🪏🌺🌼🪷🌷

🌻We all enjoyed being out in the garden today. Plenty of laughs and chat as we got on with planting, weeding, watering etc. We welcomed a new volunteer, Marie, who brought biscuits 🍪 always a winner!!! Joan especially enjoyed the Jammie Dodgers with her cup of tea! Thanks to everyone and to Sue for making the teas/coffees. Have a great weekend. 🌼🌷🌺🌱🪴🪏🐝

🌻Another busy gardening 🪏session this morning. We carried on from where we left off last Friday but there is always plenty more to do! We couldn’t do it without our lovely volunteers so big ‘thank you’. Our many tadpoles are swimming happily in the pond and it’s quite mesmerising to watch. The flowers are showing off and there are signs of fruit on the apple 🍎 and pear 🍐 trees. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend whatever your plans are but especially if you’re gardening! 🌾🌺🌼🪴

🌻The borders and planters were quite dry so James was on watering 💦 duty - great job. 👍🏻 Despite a broken knee Joan came to the garden and planted up 6 hanging baskets. 🌼🌺They’ll look amazing in no time at all. Cyril continued with painting the garden furniture. Plants were added into the raised containers and tidied up. We’re slowly ticking off jobs from our ‘To Do’ list. 😃 Hope you all enjoy this Bank Holiday weekend 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾😎💐###

🪴It’s been a busy morning to say the least! We had an early start shopping at B&Q. Our aim today was to complete the pond surround with turf and pebbles which we achieved 👏🏻 despite the rain. 🌧️ We also bought compost/bedding plants 🌼🌺 ready to plant up next week. 🌻Back in the garden following the Easter 🐣 break. We began by having a meeting making plans for the coming weeks. Hopeful that the weather will improve so next Friday we will be shopping for compost/plants etc. Meanwhile some pictures from today.
