On behalf Welsh Water - Planned work at Sandy Lane Pumping Station.
Any enquiries should be made to Welsh Water - Contact details below.
Welsh Water will be carrying out improvement work at our Sandy Lane Pumping Station, Saltney over the next few months.
Our contractors Galliford Try will be carrying out this work on our behalf. The team will be working mostly Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm, but they may need to work later and on weekends to finish the work.
All the work will be on our site and shouldn’t cause too much disruption to the local community, but residents living nearby may notice more vehicles than usual going to and from our site. Work will begin on February 16th and we should be finished by the end of Summer.
This work will not affect the water or wastewater services but there may be some noise during the day while our team carry out the work, but we will do our best to minimise any disruption. The work will be carried out within our pumping station so most of this work will be out of sight, but you may notice an increase in vehicles coming to and from the site.
Letters have been sent to the local residents informing them of the work. We will post all updates, and any changes to the work on our website www.dwrcymru.com/inyourarea. Click on the follow button to receive automatic updates about the work. We understand that work in your area can be inconvenient, and we would like to thank you for bearing with us while we carry out this essential work.
Thank you,
Sian Pritchard
