Although I’m out of action at the moment, Catherine and Tricia led our return to school day today for our counsellors! I know they’re both exhausted but what a wonderful day, building on skills and growing our team 💚🧡💙

Thanks to our whole team for making new counsellors welcome and for getting so involved today 😊 See you all soon x

Another decorating weekend by MrK Painting and Decorating brings this phase of work to an end. Thanks for all you’ve done so far and for your professionalism and great attention to detail. The last space was the office, a space used by all our team and a space that needed a vibrant refresh 🧡💚💙 During Covid, my family and I painted the whole centre, a huge undertaking, however the office didn’t get done! Now, it’s great to see it brighter and the long overdue paint job completed.

Only a couple of areas left, it’ll have to wait as MrK is now fully booked until the New Year!!! Wouldn’t use anyone else though 😊

I’ve been lucky enough to have a day off today and I’ve spent the whole day in the garden. What a treat it’s been - our roses have opened and our seedlings have been potted on, the purple of the allium is glorious too.

Growing, cultivating and taking care of plants can be so good for wellbeing. I don’t always get it right, which is part of the process. At the end of the afternoon I took time to just pause and look at what had been achieved - so refreshing and restorative 🧡💚💙

It’s been National Gardening Week and I was lucky enough to visit a beautiful tulip field in Yorkshire (Spilmans) What a joy 🤩

Gardening brings me so much peace. Yesterday I had 30 minutes in the afternoon during which I watered pots and sat just looking, observing and tending plants and seedlings. It’s takes time to nurture growth and to notice what needs attention and care.
