📢 Reminder: New Prices Start Today - Monday 7th September 🏊

As shared in our newsletter last week, most of our pay-as-you-go prices are increasing by around 5% from today.

We know that price increases are never ideal, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support. ❤️

As a charity community-run pool, these changes are an important part of helping us cover our operating costs and ensure that Birtley Community Pool remains financially sustainable and serving our community for the future.

🏊 New swimming prices
• Adult – £5.80
• Discounted adult (weekdays, 12pm–4pm term time) – £4.20
• Junior (4–15) – £3.50
• Infant (0–3) – £1.20

🌊 Inflatables & Waterslide
• Adult – £5.80
• Junior – £5.20
• Member – £4.70

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Swimming
• 2 adults & 2 children – £16.50
• 2 adults & 1 child – £13.70
• 1 adult & 2 children – £10.50

💙 Aquafit prices stay the same: £7.50 per session, £5.00 for members, with blocks of 10 also unchanged.

💙 Membership prices also remain unchanged: from £22 per month for juniors and £30 for adults, with family options available too.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us through our first two years. Your visits, memberships, recommendations and kind reviews have all helped us make such great progress.

📢 AquaFit Cancellation 📢

Our Wednesday morning AquaFit class is cancelled this week (2nd September).

All other sessions this week are running as normal.

🍂 September at Birtley Community Pool! 🏊‍♀️

This September marks two years since Birtley Community Pool reopened! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the last two years. Whether you swim with us, come to Aquafit, enjoy the inflatables and waterslide, attend lessons, have a membership, book a party, recommend us to friends and family, or simply share your support. 💙

📅 31st August - 6th September
📅 7th September - 25th October
The new timetable starting 7th September includes Wednesday Aquafit moving to 9:30am, plus more weekend waterslide time following your feedback.

🚗 Parking Eye reminder: Don’t forget to register your vehicle on the reception tablets every time you visit.

We start our Timetable 2 today!

No booking needed, just turn up and dive in!

▫️ Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays – 12:30pm & 2:30pm
▫️Saturdays – 1:30pm & 2:45pm
▫️Sundays – 1:30pm
All inflatable sessions are 1 hour long

Age Guidelines 👪
✅️ Children 8+ who complete a 25 meter swim test can go on the inflatable without an adult
✅️ Children 4-7/unconfident swimmers must be supervised by an adult on the inflatables
✅️ Children under 5 must be supervised by an adult on the slide
✅️ Infants aged 0-3 must be supervised with a ratio of 1 adult to 1 infant

🚗 Remember to register your car at reception for free parking

🕒 Summer Timetable 1 (20th July – 9th August)
• Double Inflatable: Mon, Wed, Fri (12:30pm & 2:30pm), Sat (1:30pm & 2:45pm), Sun (1:30pm)
• Slide & Lily Pads: Tue/Thu (1:30-4pm), Wed (6-8pm) + Sat/Sun (9am-1pm)
• Slide Only sessions: Mon-Fri (8:30-10am) + Mon (8-9:30pm)

🕛 Summer Timetable 2 (10th – 30th August)
• Double Inflatable: Mon, Wed, Fri (12:30pm & 2:30pm), Sat (1:30pm & 2:45pm), Sun (1:30pm)
