We’re delighted to be working with Sundesh Hemraj, Founder and Lead Consultant at Mindlit Consultancy, to offer this thoughtful and practical training exploring power, bias and intersectionality in real-world practice.

This course helps you ask better questions by exploring how power operates and how bias shapes what we see and understand. Through an intersectional lens, we examine these dynamics in practice.

To our incredible volunteers - thank you.

At Chiltern, we strive for a caring world where music therapy is the transformative thread in everyday life - and we couldn’t do it without you. Your time, care, energy, and compassion make our work possible. Through every session, every conversation, every setup, every smile, and every moment of support, you help us transform lives through the power of music.

We know that meaningful change is never created alone. It takes people who genuinely believe in what we do to help people of all ages connect, communicate and thrive and we are so grateful that you are a part of this journey with us.
Thank you for helping us harness the power of music, inspire through human story, and create a growing network of champions. Your support makes a real difference every day.

We appreciate you more than words can say. If you are interested in volunteering with Chiltern, please check out our website.

Waterside Singers is a relaxed, welcoming community singing group for absolutely anyone who enjoys singing together.

We learn everything by ear in a friendly and informal space, with songs from around the world, folk music, well-loved favourites, and songs chosen by the group too!

Some people are rediscovering singing for the first time since school, while others already sing in choirs and are enjoying a more relaxed and creative way of singing together. Working from home? Retired? New parent? Day off and fancy something different? Come and sing with us!

You can find us every Wednesday at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre from 10:30 til 12:30.

Tickets can be purchased on the day, or to book in advance, head to:

This Dementia Action Week, we’re reflecting on the importance of keeping people connected to the things they love.

Through our weekly ‘Safe in Sound’ music therapy group in Chesham, older adults living with dementia and their carers come together each week to sing, play, share memories and connect with others.

These reflections from some of the carers who attend the group show just how meaningful those moments of music and connection can be.

We're recognising Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 by giving focus to the impact music therapy has in SEND settings.

Children with learning disabilities are far more likely to struggle with mental health problems than those without. Offering necessary support through our practices is fundamental to everything we do at Chiltern Music Therapy.

Through our services, we build meaningful connections to improve wellbeing and ensure no one suffers alone.
