Chesham Youth Centre

After the success of the last photograph from our archive I thought I would try a different era. Do you recognise any of these ex-attendees of the Youth Centre? What year do you think it was and what were their certificates for?

Are you looking for a hall to hire?
Our hall is already used for Pilates, Line Dancing, two ballet schools and martial arts but is currently available to be hired every morning and early afternoon up to 4pm and all day Sunday. It has got an attached kitchen making it ideal for a function, the tall ceiling means we can even accommodate a bouncy castle. Have a look at our website for more information and how to book. www.cheshamyc.org.uk

Do you know who any of these people are or what they are doing?

Over the next few months, we will be posting old photographs we have found in the Youth Centre. We are trying to build a history of the building and the Youth Services here in Chesham so we would love to hear from you.

Eventually we are hoping to display some of the photos and share the stories around the Youth Centre and open up to the public to come and look.

Absolutely thrilled for our on site Dance School. Well done everyone.

Pretty thrilled to be selected as a finalist for Dance School of the year! ✨ 25-26 has been an incredible year of dancing for us from Disneyland, Exam and audition success, performances and ending the year with our own amazing show Lights, Camera, Action! What was everyone’s favourite memories? ✨

We sadly have to cancel our youth club this evening through illness. Not a decision we have taken lightly since it would have been our last one this academic year. We wish all our young people and their families a wonderful summer holiday - we are looking forward to seeing you all in September!

We’re delighted to share that renovations at Chesham Youth Centre are now complete just in time to welcome back the incredible Chesham Fringe Festival on 22 May.
Our space will once again host a range of Fringe performances, and we couldn’t be more excited to support local arts and community events. A huge thank you to Garfield Weston Foundation, Heart of Bucks Community Foundation, Wickes, Chesham Town Council and Community Payback your support makes it possible for us to continue offering affordable space to the community. Without funding like this, it would be much harder to support the groups who rely on us. Looking for a community venue in Chesham? Get in touch!
