The new playground at Franklin Field in Chartridge was officially opened last Sunday by Alex Horne from Taskmaster. Despite the terrible weather lots of local residents came to the opening ceremony and it was lovely to see all the excited children trying out the wonderful new equipment.
The Franklin Field Playground group - Rebecca, Benedicte, Louisa, Sharan, Juliet, Ellie and Heather have worked very hard to raise the funds needed for the playground.
They would like to thank the Parish Council, the Village Hall Committee, Bucks CC Community Fund, The Entertainer and the many members of the community who have given so generously to the project in terms of money, time and encouragement.
