🦆☀️ We'll be out and about at local summer fairs this season! ☀️🦆

Summer fairs are a wonderful reminder of what community is all about – friendly faces, shared stories, and taking time to connect with one another.

At Time to Talk, we know that sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer is a simple conversation.

If you see us at a local event this summer, come and say hello! We'd love to chat about how befriending can help reduce loneliness and bring people together.

As we near the end of Loneliness Awareness Week, we would like to thank everyone who supported us in spreading kindness throughout the community.

While the week may be ending the message remains the same: loneliness doesn't always have a dedicated week and neither should kindness.

Let's continue to reach out, connect and ensure that no one feels alone.

We left a special connection bunch of flowers on a bench by the beautiful riverside in Sunbury on Thames. What a lovely place to sit by the river, watch the water gently flow by, and enjoy a few peaceful moments surrounded by nature.

We hope this small gesture of kindness brings a smile to someone today and remind them that they are not alone 💐

A quiet corner of Chobham, near the museum, where people can sit and enjoy the surroundings was a perfect place to leave a connection bunch of flowers and make someone smile!

We also visited the Walled Garden in Sunbury and left a Connection bunch of flowers for someone to discover. A beautiful place to sit quietly, reflect, enjoy nature, and take a moment away from the demands of everyday life!

If you find our flowers, please keep them if you need a little cheering up, or pass them on to someone who may benefit from a kind surprise 💐

Following our theme of spreading connection during Loneliness Awareness Week we have left a connection bunch of flowers at Camberley Bowling Club on Time to Talk's Chatty Bench. We hope this will brighten someone's day, start a conversation, and remind people that you are not alone. Small acts of connection can make a big difference!

🌤️ A Quiet Change
Nothing big changed.
The same flat, the same routine, the same quiet evenings.
But now, once a week, someone remembered her name. Asked about her day.
Listened to the answer and somehow, that small thing made the world feel a little less heavy.
💙 Loneliness doesn’t always disappear in big moments.
Sometimes it softens with something small—like being heard.
