BIG NEWS from Chepstow Community Fridge! 🎉

We’re so excited to share this with you all - we’ve received a community grant from The National Lottery!

Thanks to this grant, we can now confirm the fridge will stay open for another 2 years, continuing to serve our amazing Chepstow community 💚

We’ve got some exciting new projects we’ve been wanting to develop too, and this funding means we can finally get them off the ground.

Important message from Chepstow Community Fridge

It is a shame that we have to write this post, but we need to be clear: we do not condone unacceptable behaviour towards our volunteers.

We run the Chepstow Community Fridge with kindness and fairness at the heart of everything we do.

Please be kind to our volunteers and to all of our customers. Everyone who visits, helps out, or supports the fridge deserves to be treated with respect.

Thank you for helping us keep this a safe and welcoming space for the whole community 💚

Community Fridge reminder for the hot weather ☀️

We’re loving seeing you at the fridge, but please make sensible choices while visiting.

It’s hot out there, so:
Stay hydrated– bring some water to drink

Stay cool– an umbrella works great for shade while you wait

Take what you need, and be mindful of perishable items in the heat

Look after yourselves and each other 💚

Big news for Chepstow! 🎉

The Chepstow Community Fridge has been nominated for a BBC Wales Make a Difference Award!

It’s amazing to see the fridge recognised for the role it plays in bringing people together, cutting food waste, and supporting the community day in, day out.
