A big welcome to our wonderful new volunteer, Layla! Layla is a local college student studying childcare and she has very kindly joined us to volunteer with our stay and play group, Little Fledglings on a Monday morning. She is a fantastic addition to the team!

Little Fledglings is a stay and play baby and toddler group which runs here at BCC on Monday mornings from 11-12. From October half term, we will be extending the group to start from 10:30.

The group costs £3 per session, or you can pay for a block of 6 sessions for £15 which works out as one week free. You can pay as you go with cash, or pay for a block of sessions with cash or card.

Help us, Chepstow! 🚗

Bridges Community Car Scheme helps local residents get to vital medical appointments, attend social groups and stay independent and connected to their communities.

Our waiting list is growing, but we don’t currently have enough volunteer drivers to fulfil all the journeys people are waiting for.

That means local residents are waiting for the support they need.. and we’d love to keep changing that.

If you have access to your own vehicle and some spare time, you could help someone get where they need to be.

You can volunteer as much or as little as you’re able to as there are no weekly commitments or set schedules.

Even offering your time for a few journeys can make a real difference.

💛 Help someone get to a vital medical appointment
💛 Help someone stay connected to their community
💛 Help a local resident remain independent

Could you lend a hand? Get in touch today to find out more about becoming a volunteer driver.

We were very excited to receive a donation of a table tennis table this week, and it's already being put to great use! 🏓
