This ’Week, we want to say a huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who give their time to refurbish computers. 💻💚 Thanks to your hard work, computers are given a new life helping students and communities access the digital world. Volunteering is at the heart of what we do and we want to thank everyone for their huge contribution.

💫 We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Stroud District Council for their generous donation of a significant number of laptops 💫 💻

This is a perfect example of combining sustainable IT disposal with meaningful social impact. ♻️

The donated devices are being professionally refurbished and given a second life to support those most in need.
Under the terms of the contract, a proportion of the laptops will be distributed within Stroud district and across the county. Others will go on to support people around the world who might otherwise be unable to access digital education and technology.

➡️ We encourage other councils and organisations to consider similar approaches to surplus IT equipment. If your organisation is considering what to do with surplus IT equipment, we’d love to help you make a difference. Call 01242 228800
If you are a local based charity and you would like to apply for donated laptops, please email [email protected]

We are halfway through delivering our Big Give 2025 project - providing low-income secondary schools in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe with starter IT labs, supported with IT teacher training and IT maintenance/support.
✅ Providing IT facilities and digital skills teaching to students for the very first time.
✅ Supporting schools in underserved communities which have little funding and cannot afford IT facilities.
✅ Enabling students to benefit from the practical element of their ICT classes and advance opportunities for education and life.
Wonderful to see the first photos from
Thank you to all our donors for making this project happen 🙏

We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the Mayor’s Charity for 2026/2027. Thank you to Martin Horwood!
Before becoming Mayor, when Martin served as Deputy Mayor, he shared why our work matters to him. This short video captures that from his own words and means even more to us now.
A huge thank you to the Mayor for his support, we are excited to work together over the coming year to make an even bigger difference.
With thanks to Serhii Leshchenko for the great video.

🖥️ A huge thank you to everyone for supporting our desktop computer appeal.
Today we received another batch of donated IT equipment 👏

Every computer represents an opportunity for someone to learn, apply for work, access vital services and stay connected.

We still need more to reach our target, so if your organisation is upgrading equipment or has unused desktop computers available, we would love to hear from you.
