Meet the Wolves’ Program Leaders - Bee and Henry!

Starting something new can bring a mix of excitement and nerves — and that’s completely normal. We know that for some young people, not knowing what to expect can make the first session feel a little overwhelming.

To help make those first steps easier, we’ve created a warm and reassuring social story that walks through what happens at a Cubs session in a clear, visual and supportive way. It’s designed to help children feel prepared, confident and ready to enjoy their first experience, at their own pace.

If you’re a parent or carer of a child who is thinking about joining Cubs, this resource may be a helpful way to explore the experience together and open up conversations about what the session might look and feel like.

Sadly we have had to cancel tonight’s meeting due to one of our leaders being ill with a contagious infection. We apologise to everyone who was looking forward to attending tonight, and will be back up and running next week.

In future, we will aim to communicate meeting cancellations when absolutely necessary at least 24 hours before the meeting is scheduled.

🌲 Who we are: Part of the Scouts family, helping disabled young people gain skills for life.
🔥 What we do: Adventure, fun, friendship, and learning — from outdoor activities and campfires to creative projects and teamwork.
📅 When we meet: Wednesdays during term time, 7:30–8:30pm at Brizen Young People’s Centre.
