St Paul's Road Area Residents Association - SPRA This is the official page for the St Paul's Road Area Residents Association (SPRA)

The Association (SPRA) was established in June 2008 to provide an effective way to capture and address the common concerns of the community. Its objective is to help improve the quality of life in the area, and to represent the residents by maintaining effective communication with the many authorities and organisations influencing life in the area.

Another three bags of litter picked off the streets of St Pauls by us and St Paul's Road Area Residents Association - SPRA and the litter picking legend that is Rob (who recently won an award! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgmr731d49do).

Today we visited and cleaned up rubbish on:

St Pauls Street North
Hungerford Street
Albert Street
Hanover Street
Larput Place
Dunalley Street

If your local street benefitted from our volunteers' time, please do consider giving some of your time back. Our next pick is on Saturday 31st October, meeting outside the School House Café at 10:15 for a prompt 10:30 start. All kit provided, as well as a warm welcome!

Suitable for all levels, with two evening classes running every Tuesday at School House Café. Sessions are led by Johanna Leah and focus on improving strength, flexibility and overall wellbeing.

Classes run from 6:15–7:10pm and 7:15–8:10pm. Your first class is £5, with options of £60 for a 6-week block or £12 drop-in. For more information or to book a place, call 07876 335926.

St Paul’s Church has applied for planning permission to install solar panels on its east and west roof slopes.
This will help reduce the energy costs of heating the building. You can view or comment on the planning application on Cheltenham Borough Council’s planning portal, application ref 26/01327/FUL

St Paul’s Church is a grade II* listed building. It was built in 1829-31 as a free church to serve the artisan classes in the poorer quarter of Cheltenham. Its architect, John Forbes, also designed Pittville Pump Room.
