WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Hall Improvement Project over the last three years.
As many of you know, we launched our project in 2023 with a vision to secure the future of Leckhampton Village Hall for generations to come. Since then, our dedicated team of volunteers has worked tirelessly, organising fundraising events, applying for grants, and seeking funding opportunities to help make this vision a reality.
Our plans include:
🏡 Extending the hall to create much-needed meeting and community space
🚻 Providing accessible toilet facilities
🛡️ Creating changing room facilities that meet current safeguarding requirements for our user groups
🍽️ Modernising the kitchen to better serve the many community organisations that use the hall
Over the past three years we have held countless fundraising events and submitted numerous grant applications. While we have been fortunate to receive some funding, we are still a considerable distance from our target.
The hall has been at the heart of our community for over 100 years, providing a home for local groups, activities, events and friendships. We are determined to preserve and improve this valuable community asset, but we cannot do it alone.
