We offer our free personal safety app Hollie Guard. The Hollie Gazzard Trust is a Gloucestershire-based charity with a nationwide reach. It was set up in 2014 by Hollie’s family, Nick, Amanda, and Chloe, following her horrific murder. While nothing can change the events of that tragic day, the Trust was created so that something positive could come from Hollie’s loss. Our mission is to help preven

t other families and individuals from going through what Hollie experienced by focusing on three core aims:
AWARENESS: We shine a light on the realities of domestic abuse, stalking, and violence against women and girls. By sharing Hollie’s story and the experiences of others, we raise awareness across communities and help break the silence around harmful behaviours. EDUCATION: Education is at the heart of what we do. We deliver engaging workshops in schools, universities and workplaces that promote healthy relationships, challenge controlling behaviours, and empower people to speak out and support others. PREVENTION: We’re committed to creating tools and programmes that protect individuals before harm can occur. One of our key initiatives is the Hollie Guard personal safety app, powered by PanicGuard, which provides practical support to those at risk and is actively promoted by police forces and professionals across the UK. Hollie had suffered from domestic abuse and stalking in the time leading up to her death. Tackling these issues remains at the forefront of the Trust’s work. While Hollie’s family are still devastated by her untimely death, they hope the work of the Trust and the funds raised in Hollie’s memory can help others find a better future and reach their full potential.

Last week, our Founder, Nick Gazzard OBE, and CEO, Jane Harvey, travelled to the Home Office to meet with Sarah Jones MP, Minister for Policing and Crime.

The discussion focused on how the criminal justice system can better protect victims of domestic abuse, stalking and violence against women and girls, and how the Hollie Gazzard Trust can support that work through education, awareness and lived experience.

More than a decade after Hollie's murder, we remain committed to ensuring that victims' voices are heard and that lessons are learned to help prevent future harm.

We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these important conversations.

Nearly one in five young men do not recognise controlling a partner's spending as abuse.

New research from the Home Office highlights why education around healthy relationships remains so important.

Economic abuse can be subtle, hidden and difficult to recognise, but its impact can be devastating.

Our CEO, Jane Harvey, has responded to the findings and explains why improving young people's understanding of coercive control and economic abuse is vital.

The proposed social media ban for under 16s has sparked a lot of discussion, but for many parents, the biggest question is:

"How do I manage this at home?"

For young people, this change may feel frustrating or unfair. That's why the conversation must not become a parents-versus-children conversation.

In this video, our Training Manager, Sara Dillon, shares practical advice on how parents and carers can approach these conversations positively, helping children understand that these measures are about safety, wellbeing and support, not punishment.

The goal isn't to take something away from young people.

The goal is to help them navigate the online world safely, confidently and with the right support around them.

💜 Open conversations.
💜 Clear boundaries.
💜 Listening without judgement.

These are some of the most powerful tools parents have.

How are you talking to your children about online safety and social media?

15/06/2026

🚨 Today feels like a turning point.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust welcomes the Government's announcement to ban social media access for under 16s.

Through our work in schools, colleges and universities, we see first-hand the impact that harmful online content can have on young people's safety, wellbeing and relationships. From exposure to po*******hy and the manosphere to online grooming, unwanted contact and restrictive gender stereotypes, the online world is shaping the experiences of a generation.

As our CEO Jane Harvey explains in this video, today's announcement sends an important message: the safety of children online must be taken far more seriously.

But this cannot be the end of the conversation.

Technology companies must take greater responsibility for the environments they create, and we must continue to equip young people, parents and educators with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the online world safely.

Technology can be a force for good. With the right safeguards, education and accountability, it should be.

⚽ The World Cup should be a time of excitement, celebration and community.

But for some people, it isn't.

Research has shown that domestic abuse reports increase when England's men's team plays during major tournaments. Football doesn't cause domestic abuse, but major events can intensify existing abusive behaviour.

That's why awareness matters.

If you're worried about your own relationship, concerned about someone you know, or simply want to learn more about the signs of abuse:

📱 Download the Bright Sky app for confidential support, information and access to local services.

📱 Download Hollie Guard Extra for additional personal safety features and peace of mind.

At the Hollie Gazzard Trust, we also deliver workshops on Healthy Relationships, Coercive Control and Stalking Awareness to help people recognise the warning signs earlier.

Please share this post. You never know who might need to see it this week. 💜

The coalition brings together governments, experts and frontline organisations to strengthen prevention, improve protection systems, and increase accountability for perpetrators worldwide.

Young people are growing up in an online world, where harmful content can shape attitudes, relationships and behaviour from an early age.

Conversations around misogyny, po*******hy and harmful online influencers are no longer optional. They are an essential part of safeguarding and education. 💜

Jane Harvey, CEO of the Hollie Gazzard Trust, said:

“Everyone at the Hollie Gazzard Trust welcomes this pioneering work in Gloucestershire. From our work with young people in our county, we share concerns about how online harms like extreme po*******hy are impacting behaviour.”

Education and early intervention are vital. Through our specialist training programmes for schools and colleges, we help students and staff explore:

• Healthy relationships and behaviours
• The impact of po*******hy
• Sexual harassment and harmful sexual behaviours
• Misogyny and the Manosphere
• Online safety and coercive control

Our Training Manager, Sara Dillon, delivers engaging and informative training sessions for both students and staff, helping schools create safer, healthier cultures where young people can recognise harmful behaviours and feel empowered to challenge them.
