The GCF Community Fund is unique to Gloucestershire, with over 47 fundholders and donors, this is the most effective way of matching individual and corporate donors with grass roots organisations, who are so often overlooked and underfunded.
🫶 AUGUST: For our last GCF Community Fund, we received 51 applications, thoroughly processed by grants team, with a total ask of £180K!
🫶 Following our Community Grants Panel meeting we were delighted to support 29 amazing charities with grants totalling £122K.
🫶 Part of our deeply relational work, we also provided bespoke 121 support to a further 5 of the applicants with a view to funding them in the next round!
Our close ongoing relationships with both our charities and with our donors enables us to truly understand the match making process and apply philanthropic aims with those who need our support the most.
✅ Our robust grants assessment process means every charity application is assessed to the highest standard by a county-based grants team who understand the need and have developed trusted and deep relationships with those we serve.
✅ Our Community Grants Panel provides impartial oversight to ensure awards are given on merit where the funds are needed most.
