The Mastectomy Tattooing Alliance is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the breast cancer community in their healing journey. We provide funding for ar**la and mastectomy, and connections to experienced and skilled artists, approved by the MTA, ensuring a level of quality and safety is always met. Our goal is to make these wonderful and empowering tattoos more accessible, improve information available and support the development of industry standards in medical tattooing.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to receive a high-quality mastectomy and 3D ar**la tattoos via our network of approved artists. Helping restore confidence and emotional support recovery.

The MTA Tattoo Gift Voucher Scheme provides financial support to those in need of help towards their mastectomy and/or ar**la tattoos.

Fiona created this beautiful decorative tattoo for her client, helping to boost her confidence following her double mastectomy with no reconstruction.

The tattoo was provided in Partnership with the MTA Tattoo Gift Voucher Scheme 🌸

The MTA created the Tattoo Gift Voucher Scheme to provide financial support for those in need of help towards the cost of their mastectomy and/or ar**la tattoos, through our directory of approved MTA Artists.

An exceptionally beautiful mastectomy tattoo created for a client by ✨️

At the MTA, our artists are experts in both 3D ar**la tattoos and creative decorative tattoo options, enabling them to customize each design to suit the individual and their personal vision.

Carrie's client had previously undergone a flat-closure mastectomy, and this tattoo signifies much more than just art; it represents an opportunity to reclaim a part of herself that she may have felt was lost during her breast cancer journey 🩷

Mastectomy tattoos offer more than just a physical transformation. They empower, uplift, and assist clients in reconnecting with their sense of self as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.

A huge thank you to the incredible Sarah.

Sarah had planned to take part in the London Marathon to raise funds for the Mastectomy Tattooing Alliance. Sadly, following a diagnosis of PMDD and challenges with training, she was unable to take part.

But Sarah didn’t give up. Instead, she showed true dedication and resilience by hosting an amazing 8-hour Zumba-thon — all to support our charity 💃✨

Specialising in Neo-Traditional tattooing, Carrie is known for her beautiful florals, birds, and animal designs 🌿🕊️

After founding Wellness Tattoos and specialising in scar tissue, skin grafts, and birthmarks, Carrie went on to train with MTA founder , further strengthening her skills in mastectomy and top surgery tattooing.

WE’RE HIRING! 💖

The MTA are looking for a dedicated and hard working individual to help our charity grow our social media presence and reach.

The role includes:
- content creation and design
- social media scheduling and engagement
- developing strategies and campaigns
- marketing and CRM support

Candidates must have previous work experience and are experienced in using Canva and MailChimp.

This is a remote, flexible role. Candidates must be able to travel to our charity HQ for occasional meetings and training.
