We're a bit late posting this ...... This was an evening towards the end of last year when we held a presentation evening at Leonardo Hotel in Cheltenham and presented cheques of £500 to several local charities and good causes.
We're starting the process of presenting donations to more charities now.

For the first time in many years, we at Cheltenham Rotary are opening special membership to local businesses and companies.

This will bring real benefits to our club and to the businesses that join us. It will enable us to improve Cheltenham and the lives of local residents, as well as allowing the companies to showcase their services and merchandise in a direct and networking environment.

More details will be posted soon, but in the interim, if you run or are connected to a local business or company, contact us so that you can be involved right from the start

We gave a second £500 cheque out this week. This one was presented to the Trussel Trust. That's a thousand pounds given to help the less well off in Cheltenham at a critical time of year for any struggling families.
And we've got the people of Cheltenham to thank for helping us to achieve this because all this money was popped into our collection boxes when we spent 2 days collecting at Morrison Supermarket.

The event: A Murder Mystery play in 4 acts.
The aim: Solve this dastardly murder
Guests are invited to join us at £20 per head including a 2 course dinner. Open to groups or singles (we'll include singles in a team). It's guaranteed to be a great evening, so don't miss it!

We are having our annual walking treasure hunt next Friday (September 27th) in the Suffolks area of Cheltenham, starting at 6pm and lasting about 50 minutes.

There's no charge to enter, and the prize for the winners ...... just the pleasure of winning! Oh, and we'll be meeting up for a drink afterwards. COME AND JOIN IN. IT'S ALWAYS GREAT FUN !!!
