🌟 Youth Work Matters: This Summer, We're Making Every Day Count 🌟

Every child and young person deserves somewhere they feel safe, welcomed and valued. A place where they can make friends, learn new skills, have fun, enjoy a healthy meal, and know that trusted adults are there to support them.

At Springbank Community Group CiC, that's exactly what we're providing throughout the summer holidays with a packed programme of free activities for children and young people across Cheltenham.

🍳 Free Breakfast Club

Monday to Friday, we're helping children start their day with a healthy breakfast, reducing holiday hunger and giving families one less thing to worry about.

🎉 Holiday Activities & Food (HAF)

Across six HAF sessions, children eligible for the programme can enjoy exciting activities, nutritious meals and opportunities to make lasting memories throughout the holidays.

🏡 Brizen Youth Club Summer Programme

Our open-access youth provision will be running every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, giving young people aged 10–16 a safe place to meet friends, take part in activities, develop confidence and simply be themselves.

🌍 Peace Camp 2026

This summer we're also proud to be hosting young people from our international partner towns as part of Peace Camp 2026. Together they'll explore friendship, culture, leadership and peace, building relationships that cross borders and create lasting understanding.

Youth work changes lives. It improves wellbeing, reduces isolation, builds confidence and creates opportunities that many young people simply wouldn't otherwise have.

At a time when youth services continue to face significant challenges, we're committed to ensuring that young people in Cheltenham still have somewhere they belong.

☀️🎉 BRIZEN SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME IS BACK! 🎉☀️

We are delighted to announce that our Brizen Summer Holiday Activities Programme is returning for its sixth year this summer – and it's set to be our biggest and best programme yet!

Across the summer holidays, young people aged 8-16 will be able to enjoy a packed programme of fun, friendship and adventure, with activities including:

⚽ Sports and games
🍳 Cooking and baking
🎨 Arts and crafts
🎲 Board games and team challenges
🌳 Outdoor activities
🐑 Special guest visitors, including a mobile farm
🔥 Charcoal making experiences..and much more!

Best of all, the programme is completely FREE to attend, with breakfast, lunch and snacks provided every day at no cost.

Over the past six years, hundreds of local young people have joined us each summer to learn new skills, make friends, build confidence and create lasting memories. We can't wait to welcome both familiar faces and new participants this year.
